Everything you need to know
Orders
Simply browse our collection, select your frame, and click Add to cart. When you’re ready, head to checkout — you’ll choose your shipping method and complete payment securely through Mollie. You’ll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is placed.
We process orders quickly, so changes are only possible within 1 hour of placing your order. Contact us immediately at info@sunaura.nl and we’ll do our best to help. Once an order is dispatched, you’ll need to use our return process instead.
Yes — you’ll receive an order confirmation immediately after checkout, and a second email with your tracking details once your order has been dispatched. If you don’t see these, check your spam folder or contact us.
No account needed — you can check out as a guest. Creating an account does let you track orders, save addresses, and view your order history, which can be handy for future purchases.
Shipping
Within the Netherlands, expect delivery in 1–2 business days. For Belgium and Germany it’s 2–4 days, and the rest of the EU takes 3–7 days. International orders outside the EU typically arrive within 7–14 business days. See our full Shipping page for all zones and rates.
Yes! Orders over €50 ship free within the Netherlands. Free shipping thresholds for other countries: Belgium & Germany over €75, rest of EU over €100. The applicable threshold is displayed at checkout.
Absolutely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email. Depending on the carrier, you can follow your parcel in real time. If you haven’t received tracking details within 3 business days, get in touch and we’ll look into it.
Yes, we ship worldwide from the Netherlands. Note that for deliveries outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may apply — these are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking your country’s import rules before ordering.
Returns & Refunds
As an EU customer, you have the right to return any item within 14 days of receiving it, no questions asked. Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Visit our Return & Withdrawal Policy page for full details and the EU withdrawal form.
Return shipping costs are covered by the customer for standard change-of-mind returns. If the item is defective, damaged, or we made an error with your order, we cover the return shipping in full. We recommend using a tracked service for all returns.
Once we receive your return and confirm its condition, we process your refund within 14 days — usually much faster. Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few additional days to show the funds.
We’re sorry to hear that. Please email us at info@sunaura.nl within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping, at no cost to you.
Products
Yes — all SunAura lenses are CE-certified UV400, blocking 99–100% of both UVA and UVB radiation. This isn’t a marketing claim; it’s a European safety standard. Never compromise on UV protection — it’s the most important thing about any pair of sunglasses.
Each product page lists frame dimensions — width, lens size, bridge, and temple length — so you can compare to a pair you already own. As a general guide: oval and round faces suit angular frames; square faces suit rounder styles; heart-shaped faces look great in aviators or cat-eye frames. Still unsure? Drop us a message — we love helping people find their frame.
Always use the included microfibre cloth to clean lenses — avoid paper, tissues, or clothing. Store your frames in the case when not in use. Avoid leaving them in a hot car, as heat warps frames and degrades lens coatings. Never clean with household cleaners; a small drop of lens cleaning solution or lukewarm water works perfectly.
We photograph every frame in natural daylight and do our best to represent colours accurately. However, screen calibration varies device to device, so there may be subtle differences in person. If colour is critical to your decision, feel free to contact us and we’ll describe the tone in more detail.
Payment
We accept iDEAL, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Klarna (buy now, pay later). All payments are processed securely through Mollie, a PCI-DSS certified provider. We never store your card details.
Completely. All transactions are handled by Mollie, one of Europe’s leading payment processors, fully PCI-DSS compliant. Our site runs on HTTPS with SSL encryption. We never see or store your full card number at any point.
Yes, all prices are in euros (€) and include Dutch VAT (21%). If you’re paying from outside the eurozone, your bank or card provider will apply their exchange rate. Any foreign transaction fees charged by your bank are outside our control.
First, double-check your card details and that your billing address matches your bank records. If iDEAL or PayPal is giving issues, try switching to card. Still stuck? Contact us and we’ll help you complete your order — your cart is saved and items are held while we sort it out.
