Return & Withdrawal Policy
1. Your Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order — no questions asked. This right is guaranteed under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
You do not need to provide a reason. Simply notify us within this 14-day window and return the item(s) in accordance with the instructions below.
The 14-day period begins the day after you (or someone you designate) receive the physical goods. For orders with multiple items, the period starts upon receipt of the last item.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To exercise your right of withdrawal, follow these steps:
- Notify us within 14 days by emailing returns@sunaura.nl or by using the withdrawal form at the bottom of this page. State your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
- Package your items securely. Products must be returned in their original or equivalent packaging, unused, undamaged, and with all accessories and documentation included.
- Ship the return to us within 14 days of notifying us. The return address will be confirmed in our response to your return request.
- Receive your refund within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods (or proof of return shipment, whichever comes first).
3. Return Shipping Costs
The direct cost of returning goods is borne by the customer, unless the item is defective, damaged, or not as described. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
4. Conditions for Returns
Returned items must meet the following conditions to be eligible for a full refund:
- Returned within 14 days of notifying us of withdrawal
- Unused, undamaged, and in their original condition
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or order number
- Complete with all original packaging, cases, cloths, and accessories
Items that show signs of wear, have been altered, or are missing components may be subject to a partial deduction from the refund to cover diminishment in value.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days using the original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional few business days for the funds to appear in your account.
Refunds include the original standard delivery cost (if applicable). We do not refund premium or express shipping charges.
6. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@sunaura.nl with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, at no charge to you.
7. EU Model Withdrawal Form
You may use the form below to exercise your right of withdrawal. You are not required to use this form — any clear written statement will suffice — but we are legally obligated to make it available to you.
